The Art of Creating an Iconic Car

For over five years Frank Nash a lifelong Beatles Fan and famed British Artist Paul Karslake had talked about the possibility of creating a homage to John Lennon’s famous Roll Royce Psychedelic Phantom.

The search for the best example of a Phantom that could be found began at the start of 2014 and Franks first stop was to discuss the project with J P Fallon who had worked on John’s original car. Sadly Fallons had closed in the mid-eighties. However all was not lost. It seemed right that if a second psychedelic Phantom was to be produced then JP Fallon should do it. So in July 2014 J P Fallon Ltd was re-established as exclusive coachbuilders with Frank Nash now at the helm. With artists Paul Karslake , Rob Collard, Josh Green and Peter Morris who had worked on John’s original car brought into the project, things were taking shape rather nicely.

In September 2014 the eight month search for the car was over and Rolls Royce specialists Overton’s delivered a beautiful Black Rolls Phantom to JP Fallon Ltd to their workshop in East London where work began in recreating a wonderful iconic car forever associated with John Lennon and The Beatles.

"It's been fantastic to witness this black Rolls Phantom transform into an amazing work of art" - Frank Nash (December 2014)

This year, at JP Fallon we are celebrating The 90th Anniversary of The Rolls Royce Phantom.

Special praise goes to Artist Rob Collard who has put his heart and soul into this project.
